Marrakech - Agdz - Erg Chegaga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Explore the Southern Loop of Morocco and go “Glamping” in the Sahara desert.
Day 1: Depart Marrakech at 9am, cross the High Atlas Mountains and venture into the South. Overnight in the Drama Oasis in the village of Agdz.
Day 2: Depart Agdz at 10am to continue South to the literal “end of the road”. Enjoy an exciting off-road drive to the traditional nomad camp, where you'll cozy up for the next two nights. Dinner & campfire await!
Day 3: Venture out of the camp mid-morning for a visit to a local nomad family. Understand how they live, a even get a little lesson in how they cook! Following lunch and a bit of free time, enjoy a sunset camel ride on the dunes before sunset.
Day 4: Depart after breakfast for a drive through an ancient fossil bed before rejoining the road to Ouarzazate, where you'll have an opportunity to visit one of the biggest film studios in Africa, and maybe even recognize a few famous movie sets! Dinner and an overnight in a riad.
Day 5: Before returning to Marrakech, stop for a walk through the infamous Air Ben Haddou kasbah - a true Moroccan relic and treasure of trans-Saharan history. We'll have you back in Marrakech by sunset.
