During this 3 hour tour, you’ll visit the famous Jmaa el Fna square of Marrakech, stopping to taste fresh juice and olives from the olive market as you wind through the tiny streets. See snake charmers, story tellers and more as we move into the artisan markets. Once inside the souk, you’ll have time to make some deals “Moroccan-style” as haggling and negotiating is a way of life here. Your guide will explain how things are made, from leather goods to pottery to spices and baskets and accessories and art. Enjoy a snack break for briouatte, a Moroccan savory pastry and maybe even a “mssman”, sweet or savory pancake, right off the grill! Our tour continues to the carpet market, where you’ll meet a real Marrakechi rug merchant and take part in the bargaining process - and maybe even leave with some treasures of your own! The tour ends back in the square, with a taste of Moroccan sweets and mint tea on the way.
